We
have been present on the collective investment market since the early 1990s. Investiční
kapitálová společnost KB, a.s. (hereinafter “IKS”)was
founded byKomerční
banka, a.s. (hereinafter “KB”)on the 1
st of May 1994 as its wholly owned subsidiary, which became the first legal successor of
the companyInvestiční
kapitálová společnost KB, spol. s r.o. incorporated in 1991.
International
background
Since
December 31st 2009, IKS KB is a subsidiary of Amundi Group
(Amundi),
which was created through a merger of Société
Générale Asset Management a Crédit Agricole Asset Management.Amundi ranks
third in Europe and among the top eight global players in asset management, with more than
€675.5 billion (as of June 30, 2010) under management. Located at the heart
of the main investment regions in more than 30 countries, Amundi offers a comprehensive range of
products covering all asset classes and major currencies.

and results of the company as well as of the funds managed by us is continuously being reviewed by
a renowned auditing company Ernst&Young.
IKS is one of
the founder members of theAssociation of
Funds and Asset Management of the Czech Republic (formerly Union
of Investment Companies of the Czech Republic).
Wide product
range
With mainly
investments in open-end mutual funds, we offer investors valuations of their resources by
collective investments. We introduced to our market the first guaranteed fund in Central Europe,
and we were the first ones to enable the general public to invest in a comprehensive group of
open-end mutual funds of IKS, which manages the funds with many different investment
strategies.
As of June 30
2010, total assets under IKS management totalled EUR 3.76 billion. The portfolio includes 26 mutual
funds, assets management mandates for the KB Pension Fund, KB Insurance Company and KB Fund of
Qualified Investors among others.
Distribution
channels
The purchase
and redemption of share certificates for IKS is ensured by more than
398 branches of the Komerční banka distribution network. It is also possible to
invest in the funds managed by IKS via direct banking channels (by telephone and on the internet).
A toll-free help line, KB branch employees, as well as a wide network of external associates are
all available to clients for consultations and advice in the area of investing.
The number of
IKS clients amounts to almost 170.000. The clients include physical entities, legal entities,
as well as municipalities. The structure of clients is very diverse, since collective
investments enable valuation of financial resources to physical and legal entities, and they are
available to retail clients with investment range of thousands of crows as well as to more affluent
clients.
