IKS KB strengthens its top management

Prague, 30 April 2010 – IKS KB has strengthened its top management by appointing Phillip Percheron as the Chief Investment Officer. He will be in charge of managing the portfolio management team, and responsible for investment strategies of the unit trusts managed by the company, and portfolios of individual and institutional clients.

Phillip Percheron holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics from the Parisian university Paris II. He started his career in the banking industry in 1988 as the bond portfolio manager at Ofivalmo, a French financial institution.

From 1992 he worked for the French bank Credit Agricole, where he successively held positions as the fixed income portfolio manager for the private banking arm of Credit Agricole, the head of the team for client servicing activity in Euro Fixed Income and, finally, for four years as the Chief Investment Officer of the Credit Agricole Asset Management unit in Korea (later the Amundi platform).

We believe that the appointment of Phillip Percheron will enhance the quality of our portfolio management team and will bring a new perspective into the development of the company’s mid-term strategy.

As at 31 December 2009, total assets under management at IKS KB amounted to CZK 91.5 billion. IKS KB is one of the three largest unit trust managers in the Czech Republic and has long been among the market leaders in the Balanced Funds [1] segment.
