HOW DO I PURCHASE A FUND

You should think carefully about the type of fund you want to invest in. Study the Prospectus of the fund as well as the contract closely. The fund Prospectus should contain any information you might find necessary for your investment decision.

Conclude a contract and transfer the financial resources. You will receive share certificates upon a conclusion of the contract and the transfer of the financial resources. Their number will depend on the price of the share certificate of the fund you selected on the day the financial resources are credited to an account of the fund. The number of share certificates may therefore differ from the number estimated at the moment the finances are transferred. This may be caused by price fluctuations during the bank transfer.

The share certificates may have a materialized form (only share certificates issued before the 31 st of August 2003, which were not subsequently exchanged for dematerialized share certificates) or a dematerialized (all share certificates issued after the 1 st of September 2003), i.e. deposited for example in the Prague Securities Center. In case of domestic funds, the ownership of share certificates is usually reported to you by an account statement.
